Logos: Wildflower Turf
Our client was inspired by a Swedish designer Ulf Nordfjell, whose garden won Best in Show at the RHS Chelsea Flower show 2007. This award winning garden was used as inspiration for the design which was adapted for the client’s space.
We used bespoke 60mm granite floating paving, granite kerbs, bespoke honed granite benches and granite chippings all from CED in Thurrock.
For the planting we wanted to soften the garden so used a variety of pastel blues, purples and whites.
To give privacy but without jeopardising space we sourced mature pleached hornbeams which also added height in the garden.
We are proud to have had this garden featured on in CED’s 2019 brochure.
Harlow Garden Services were engaged for a complete landscaping and planting build, from planning through to project completion. Bradley and Sam, and their team were consummate professionals throughout, with superb communications throughout the build. There attention to detail was a pleasure to behold, including cleaning of the job and the surroundings on completion, keeping ourselves and the neighbours satisfied. Managing a Far East supply base for our unusual material choices did not deter their enthusiasm, and they were quick to make suggestions to our ideas.
We were particularly impressed with Bradley’s and Sam’s knowledge base of hardscape materials and horticulture, which was of enormous value to us and helped us complete our vision for a modern garden design. The quality of our build is amazing and we highly recommend Harlow Garden Services.
