Sawn Sandstone, Artificial Grass, and a Water Feature in Sawbridgeworth

Garden bench Hardwood Low maintenance Natural stone Water feature

This is a modern garden design with a Mediterranean twist. The original concept being our clients of which we refined and brought to life. The use of how the sawn sandstone paving against the granite temples etts gives the garden a contemporary but slightly rustic feel. The white painted rendered walls are a fantastic framework and back drop for the architectural planting that was chosen.

Part of the specifications of the garden was that it was to be low maintenance, we have achieved that by installing Namgrass Artificial Grass, from which we won install of the week for this project. Another requirement was to have a peaceful social space. We achieved this with a bespoke hardwood ‘floating’ bench surrounding a spherical sandstone water feature trickling away in the background but also acting as the main focal point of the garden.

We also installed garden lighting to enable the space to be used all year round, when we have the weather, and also to compliment the planting as well as the shapes and structures of the landscape.
