In 2013, we were also pleased to announce that we are now members of the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL). We are also members of the Horticultural Trade Association (HTA), and Trustmark. These accreditations give our customers peace of mind and confidence that they are employing an accredited, insured company that is at the forefront of the industry.

Millboard

Harlow Garden Services Ltd are proud members of the Millboard installers scheme. We have all attended the dedicated Millboard installer training days, we offer a 25 year warranty with the products, and are proud to say in 2018 we won Bronze for the Commercial Project of the year (see case studies).

Essex Wildlife Trust

We are proud to be a Corporate Silver Members of The Essex Wildlife Trust. With this we have committed ourselves to reducing our environmental impact, and to protecting the wildlife heritage of Essex. Each year we give a donation as part of our pledge to reduce our carbon footprint from the installation of artificial grass.

Marshalls Register

Because we are Marshalls’ Registered Installers you benefit from a 10 year product guarantee when we install a Marshall’s product. Also you will have access to Marshalls’ products which are exclusive to approved installers.

This accreditation ensures that the we are installing paving and driveway products to a industry standard and we are assessed by Marshalls regularly to maintain this status.

Association of Professional Landscapers

To belong to the APL you must meet the following criteria:

Provide at least six satisfactory customer references of completed work within the past two years
Supply a minimum of two satisfactory trade references.
Maintain full Employer Liability Insurance cover
Maintain full Public Liability Insurance cover
Follow the agreed complaints resolution procedure
Offer customers an independently backed warranty

Member of The Horticultural Trades Association

The HTA is an group of trades people that work in the horticultural arena, i.e. growers, garden centres, nurseries, and landscapers. It provides us with newsletters to keep up to date with industry research and ideas, as well as providing links to related businesses.

TrustMark

The TrustMark quality mark is another means of proving our high standards. Members of TrustMark must be insured and pass checks on their financial status and trading record. All members must also provide a code of practice that includes insurance, good health and safety practices and customer care.

Wildflower Turf

We are approved installers of Wildflower Turf, which is a product that is rapidly growing in popularity as alternative to conventional turfing.

Wildflower Turf naturally produces a bio diverse habitat supporting and encouraging native birds, mammals, bees, butterflies and other invertebrate species.

Namgrass

We are approved installer for the countries leading Artificial Grass company, Namgrass, we give a 10 year guarantee from them and unlike other companies the grass is made and delivered by them. We can give expert advice and recommend on the different grasses for various situations e.g. children or pets

Safe Contractor

We are approved with Safe Contractor and Safe PQQ. This monitors our Health and Safety documents, and other policies such as our diversity, equal opportunities and environmental management. With this accreditation it gives our customers peace of mind that all our paperwork is in place and we are working in a safe manner.
