Composite Decking and Porcelain Paving in Chigwell

Composite decking Low maintenance Modern garden design Porcelain paving

This is one of the most contemporary designs we have ever constructed.

The ultra-low maintenance scheme was built to our usual high standards with little room for error due to the chosen materials and the nature of the design.

The two main components to this project were the porcelain paving, supplied by C.E.D Stone Group and the Millboard Decking. The porcelain was used for its durability and minimal need for maintenance. This gives a very urban feel to the garden.

The Millboard with its subtle wood grain effects softens the feel slightly but gives a modern finish. Being a composite product requires very little maintenance. A major part of the garden was the hot tub of which the eye is drawn to by the deck platform leading towards it.

With carefully spaced and chosen lighting this garden can be admired and used night and day all year round.

This project wasn’t without its challenges, with 60 tonnes of materials being excavated the only access was all the way through the house. On completion, we and the client agreed it was all worthwhile as we delivered exactly what we set out to do. Another happy client of which I’m sure will enjoy many glasses of bubbly in their new hot tub over the coming months.
