A modern family friendly space for fun and social activity

Another modern design, our client was keen to not only have a smart social garden but also one in which is great for children.

The patio terrace, constructed of raised rendered walls/planters and paved with a light grey porcelain, was designed as the adult social area of the garden. This included a bespoke rendered bench and planting bed to help separate the area from the lower section. A custom fit bbq was cleverly inserted to save space.

Once you step down from the top terrace you reach the newly laid lawn on which im sure will be subject to many games of football. We opted for traditional turf opposed to artificial grass because the customer preferred the feel and smell of the grass.

In the far corner of the garden we installed a sunken trampoline as another activity for the children. This was constructed so that as the children grow out of using it the area can be converted in to a sunken hot tub area.

Again, so the garden can be viewed and used as much as possible, modern led strip lighting was recessed in to the raised bench and planters to light up the space.

Finished in the autumn of last year I’m sure the modern planting are thriving now and the garden is ready to be enjoyed over the summer months by the whole family.
